About NORFIL's AKTIBU App

AKTIBU stands for Angat Ka BaTa! Serbisyong Inklusyon para sa kasaganaan ng Buhay (Progress for Children: Inclusive Service for Social Development). It is a mobile application developed by NORFIL Foundation Inc. that aims to enhance accessibility to disability assessment services and rehabilitation services. AKTIBU features disability screening and telerehabilitation services that can be used to implement Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR)/Community-based Inclusive Development (CBID). AKTIBU utilizes the Washington Group-UNICEF Child Functioning Module (WG/UNICEF CFM) to assess functional difficulties in different domains such as communication, comprehension, emotions, hearing, learning, mobility, and vision using a rating scale. AKTIBU can also serve as a tool to facilitate immediate referral, teleconsultation, and telerehabilitation using its own electronic medical record.
